Accessibility statement

D & G Fire Ltd wants everyone to be able to use this website. It has been built with accessibility in mind, following the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA as its target.

What we've done

• Text and background colours meet WCAG contrast requirements.
• The whole site can be navigated with a keyboard, with a visible focus indicator and a skip-to-content link.
• All form fields have visible labels, and errors are announced to assistive technology.
• Meaningful images carry descriptive alternative text; decorative graphics are hidden from screen readers.
• Headings follow a logical order and pages use semantic HTML landmarks.
• Animations respect your operating system's "reduce motion" setting.
• Text can be resized to 200% without loss of content, and the site works at all common screen sizes.

Known limitations

• The embedded map on our contact page is provided by a third party and may not be fully accessible - the address it shows is always available as text on the same page.
