Every extinguisher, audit-ready.
Under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, portable fire extinguishers must be maintained in efficient working order. In practice that means an annual basic service by a competent person to BS 5306-3, plus extended servicing at five-year intervals (ten for CO₂).
Our engineers service all portable types - water, foam, powder, CO₂ and wet chemical - across offices, warehouses, schools, restaurants, HMOs and industrial sites. Every visit ends with a signed certificate and an updated asset register listing every unit on your premises.
- Annual basic service to BS 5306-3, all extinguisher types

- Supply & commissioning of new extinguishers, signage and stands
- Consumable parts (pins, seals, O-rings) included in the fixed price

Extinguisher questions.
How many extinguishers does my premises need?
It depends on floor area, fire risk class and travel distances - as a rule of thumb, most commercial floors need at least two Class A extinguishers per storey. We'll confirm the right provision as part of your quote, usually without needing a survey visit.
What happens if an extinguisher fails its service?
We'll tell you on the spot, explain why, and give you a fixed price for replacement before doing anything. Condemned units are taken away and disposed of responsibly.
Do you service extinguishers you didn't supply?
Yes - we service any make of portable extinguisher, whoever supplied or previously maintained it, and we'll build a fresh asset register on our first visit.
Tell us your extinguisher count.
That's usually all we need to give you a fixed price for the year - most quotes come back the same day.
